The Brownsville Diocese Chapter serves
as an extension of ACTS Missions; as such,
the Chapter works to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ
among Catholic communities by promoting, consulting in,
facilitating, and sponsoring ACTS retreats.

ACTS is a three day weekend retreat inspired by the ACTS of the Apostles 2:42-47. The retreat focuses on Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service as means to achieve the directives of Vatican II and the goals of the Revised Code of Canon Law of 1983 to place more emphasis on "Community and Pastoral Care" within a parish; that the participants experience God's love and joy throughout the weekend, and return to their parishes with a deeper love for each other and a desire to become more involved in the parish faith community.
